General Description

This system is designed to optimise the power and torque of the 660 cc parallel twin engine. It has EC/ECE type approval and complies with Euro 5 standards. The catalyst is located in the front part of the pre-silencer to ensure that the system is fully compliant with regulations. The system is plug and play and does not require reprogramming. Made from high-quality carbon and stainless steel as well as lightweight titanium, the system was developed using race-proven materials. It is designed to enhance the racing look of the machine and is 0.4 kg lighter than the stock system. Tests on Akrapovič's in-house test bench showed a power increase of 2.4 hp at 11,200 rpm and a torque increase of 3.6 Nm at 4,550 rpm when comparing bikes with a Racing Line (carbon) system and a stock exhaust system, giving the rider improved throttle response. The deep, full and sporty sound and the pulsation of the parallel twin engine create the feeling of riding a motorcycle with a larger displacement and make the Akrapovič Racing Line (Carbon) for the Aprilia RS 660 the ideal exhaust system for this medium-weight sports motorcycle.
