General Description

XXZ Mono shock absorbers – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to the versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXZ shock absorber is easy to adjust even when installed.

The development of this shock culminates in an overall weight reduction through the use of an aluminum housing - an important point in order to tailor the handling to the needs of the driver. Furthermore, a new set-up was developed to make the XXZ even more geared towards racing performance. An upgrade for optimized performance and simplified adjustment of length and hydraulic spring preload was also installed.

The aim is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as even tire wear. It offers the greatest confidence when accelerating on all road surfaces and perfect rear wheel stability, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also prevails inside the damper. New technical solutions improve the damping coefficient and stability at high temperatures.
The use of a 14 mm diameter piston rod improves the sliding behavior, while the Ø30 mm separating piston reduces the uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertia forces and thus enable immediate control of the oscillating spring movements. Special attention was also paid to improving and simplifying the adjustment options, which are now all located in the upper part of the damper.
