General Description
The racing seat in carbon for the BMW S1000RR from 2015 can be used in conjunction with the standard seat cushion. This means that the seating position on the vehicle can be easily varied by adding or removing the padding and adapted to the driver's needs. No changes to the rear are necessary to mount our racing seat. This product replaces the original component using the original attachment points. The main focus is on weight savings (usually a saving of around 70% compared to the original component) and greater rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured in an autoclave in accordance with the latest guidelines completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material and in the next step, as is our usual practice, was coated with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far exceeds the usual clear varnish coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically, it also clearly underlines the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
