General Description
This Ilmberger rear wheel cover for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S from 2018, available in matt carbon, replaces the original component using the original attachment points. The cover is particularly vibration-resistant and its length is based on the original. The chain guard is also integrated into the component. Thanks to the matt surface, the Ilmberger carbon part goes particularly well with the special matt carbon parts offered by Ducati Performance.The main focus is on weight savings (usually a saving of around 70% compared to the original component) and greater rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, covered with a clear plastic coating to protect it against environmental influences.
This plastic coating surpasses the usual clear varnish coating in terms of protection, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically, it also clearly underlines the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
The fabric structure of the parts offered matches visually very well with the original parts offered by Ducati.
