General Description

The Ilmberger carbon alternator cover (matt) for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S and Streetfighter V4 is delivered with a matt surface and therefore matches the original Ducati Performance parts, which are also delivered in matt carbon. The Ilmberger carbon alternator cover sits exactly on the standard part and protects it reliably. It is installed using standard mounting points.

The main focus is on weight savings (usually around 70% less than an original component) and greater rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave in accordance with the latest guidelines and, in the next step, covered with a clear plastic coating to protect it against environmental influences.
This plastic coating surpasses the usual clear varnish coating in terms of protection, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically, it also clearly underlines the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
