General Description

This Ilmberger rear wheel cover in glossy painted carbon for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S from 2018 replaces the original component using the original attachment points. The cover is particularly vibration-resistant and its length is based on the original. The chain guard is also integrated into the component.

The main focus is on weight savings (usually around 70% less than the original component) and greater rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave in accordance with the latest guidelines and, as usual, was then coated with a clear plastic coating to protect it against environmental influences.
This plastic coating surpasses the usual clear varnish coating in terms of protection, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically, it also clearly underlines the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
