General Description
The front fender in carbon for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S from 2018 and Streetfighter V4 from 2020 is delivered with a glossy painted surface. The front fender in carbon replaces the original component using the original attachment points and original screws. As usual from Ilmberger, the fender is delivered including an internal cable guide for the ABS sensor cable. The special holder for the brake lines is also available on the Ilmberger carbon part - the original lines only need to be hooked in.The main focus is on weight savings (usually around 70% less than the original component) and greater rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave in accordance with the latest guidelines and, as usual, was then coated with a clear plastic coating to protect it against environmental influences.
This plastic coating surpasses the usual clear varnish coating in terms of protection, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically, it also clearly underlines the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
