General Description
The carbon swingarm covers for the BMW S1000R (2014-current) / S1000RR Street (2010-2015) / HP 4 (2012-current) are glued to the original swingarm using the adhesive strips already attached to the carbon part. The carbon part was manufactured in an autoclave in accordance with the latest guidelines entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material and in the next step, as is our usual practice, covered with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating greatly exceeds the usual clear varnish coating in terms of its protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically, it also clearly underlines the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
