Ilmberger Carbon fairing lower part for BMW S1000RR (from year of construction '17-), with ABE
General Description
The lower fairing for the BMW S1000RR from 2017 is longer than the original lower part and the original pre-silencer is covered. Our bracket kit VEH.203.S117S.K is required for installation! This product replaces the original component using the original fastening points. The main focus is on weight savings (usually a saving of around 70% compared to the original component) and greater rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured in an autoclave in accordance with the latest guidelines completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material and in the next step, as is usual with us, coated with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating greatly exceeds the usual clear varnish coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically, it also clearly underlines the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
