Ilmberger Carbon Fairing Upper Part Racing 1-piece, Carbon for BMW S1000RR (from year of manufacture '15-)

General Description

The Racing 1-piece carbon fairing upper part for the BMW S1000RR from 2015 can not only be installed with our racing fairing, it can also be easily combined with the standard fairing side parts. In this case, only two additional side holes would have to be drilled on the upper part. The original fairing screen can continue to be used with our racing fairing upper part. It is therefore not only suitable for professional use on the race track, it is also ideal for racing training when the headlights are to be removed. This product replaces the original component using the original attachment points. The main focus is on weight savings (usually a saving of around 70% compared to the original component) and greater rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured in an autoclave in accordance with the latest guidelines completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material and in the next step, as is usual with us, covered with a clear plastic coating to protect it against environmental influences. This plastic coating surpasses the usual clear varnish coating in terms of protection, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically, it also clearly underlines the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
